Founder and CEO of Technisys
Share the joy of Miguel Santos’ winning moment at Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Argentina.
Miguel Santos is improving the financial experience for more than 150 million people.
Miguel Santos, Founder and CEO of Technisys, is helping to bridge the digital gap to make a positive impact on the lives of millions of people. His digital banking technology company, which was acquired by SoFi in February 2022, created a leading software platform that empowers banks and FinTechs to improve their customers’ experience, new products’ time to market and scale.
The Technisys platform combines a next-generation core banking system, a digital experience accelerator and a recently launched AI-powered financial customer service agent. It provides a highly scalable execution machine that banks can leverage to create multiple products, from traditional savings and checking accounts to newer buy now, pay later and joint lending accounts. The company has more than 80 clients across 15 countries, serving more than 150 million end users.
After one of the most significant FinTech M&A transactions of 2022, Miguel remains a minority shareholder in SoFi, which acquired his business. He also is an active investor in technology-based companies with high growth potential, where he can leverage his experience and network to add value. His investment interests include digital finance, crypto, security and edtech.
He is committed to education, serving as an Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires international advisor and a member of the IAE advisory board. He also established the first support fund for the School of Exact Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires.
It is a recognition that innovation and impact can be materialized from anywhere in the world.
