Ben Treffers

Ben is a Senior Manager in EY’s Consulting practice in Business Transformation. Ben brings 5+ years’ experience across Australian and New Zealand in designing and executing transformations across various sectors, including Government, Health and Sport. ​

Ben has experience solving some of our clients most complex problems, designing transformations from vision and organisational strategy to operating models and driving implementation. Ben leverages data, subject matter expertise and co-designs with clients to develop fit-for-purpose solutions that include people, process, data and technology.

Prior to joining EY, Ben represented Australia as an elite swimmer. His career included swimming at eight international competitions, winning six international medals, including Gold at 2014 Commonwealth Games and Bronze at 2015 World Championships.

How Ben is building a better working world

Ben has diverse experience across sectors and solutions, with a common thread of solving some of the most complex, time-sensitive problems.

Ben supported Australian and New Zealand Public Sector clients respond to COVID-19 and in the years following, recommence their digital transformation journey.

Ben supported the immediate response and rapid design and commissioning of a Quarantine Facility. This included, developing the facilities operating model, and support the successful go-live and operations of the facility.

Ben has also led the redesign of COVID-19 corporate functions related to Quarantine and public health exemptions services. This work centered on developing new operating models and driving implementation across people, process, data and technology.

More recently, Ben has worked with Health New Zealand to define its Digital Modernisation Roadmap. The Roadmap consists of 13 Flagship Initiatives that are levers for transformational change across the health system.
