As a Partner in EY Private, Aaron has over 20 years of tax experience across a wide range of industries. Aaron’s focus is on helping businesses in the life sciences and technology sectors navigate their tax obligations. As the New Zealand leader of EY’s life sciences tax practice he has worked with some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and medical device companies – and some of New Zealand’s best life science companies – to ensure they are on top of their corporate tax obligations.
Aaron also works with policy officials to provide commercial and technical perspectives on proposed reforms and keeping clients of EY informed on developments that may affect them. Aaron has completed a Master of Commerce from Auckland University and the EY Darden Executive Programme facilitated by the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
Aaron is a Non-member principal of Chartered Accountant Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), a Member of the CAANZ Tax Advisory group and a Member of the International Fiscal Association.
