Chikara Adachi leads the FinTech Center in Ernst & Young ShinNihon’s FSO Division, along with Digital Trust and the Blockchain Center in EY Japan Assurance Digital and Innovation.
The FinTech Center provides service support to FinTech companies and financial institutions, and provides services such as accounts audits and system audits for FinTech companies.
Digital Trust supports companies using the latest digital technology, such as AI and blockchains, in operations such as organizing information and building solutions for the next generation of digital trust services.
Blockchain Center provides services such as support for handling audits of blockchains.
Chikara is also involved in several external organizations in the FinTech field, such as subcommittees of the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Fintech Association of Japan.
Building a better working world
Digital transformation (DX) is advancing at an increasingly rapid pace in financial services. The positive side of this is that advances such as new services and greater convenience for users are enriching society. Still, we also need to anticipate risks that we never had to think about before.
It is more important than ever to anticipate a range of risks and put precautions in place.
At EY and in my day-to-day activities, I will continue working to help build a world where people can use these new services with peace of mind.
