EY and OC & Associates K.K. merger enhances accounting and payroll outsource service capabilities

We hereby announce the merger of Ernst & Young Business Partner Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kenji Kasahara; hereinafter “EYBP”) and OC & Associates K.K. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Koichi Okamoto; hereinafter "OCA") as of 16 May 2021.

OCA is a longstanding player in the market for outsourcing services, such as accounting and payroll, and is recognized for its abundant experience in performing a wide breadth of outsourcing services in English for multinational and foreign companies, including accounting, payroll, social insurance, labor insurance, tax compliance, and cash handling.

In addition to EY’s conventional outsourcing services for payroll, tax compliance, and reporting, EY provides a variety of tax, legal, and immigration service offerings which reduce the administrative burdens and personnel costs of clients and optimize the efficacy of a variety of tasks and functions.

By fusing the best of the various outsourcing services developed at EY and the skills and know-how of OCA, EY will further enhance its suite of accounting, payroll and other outsourcing service offerings, and bolster its capacity to support clients’ businesses.
