Tavengwa is a Partner within EY Ireland IT Risk and Assurance practice. With over 15 years of experience in information systems audit as well as control and risk management, he advises several corporates in understanding, evaluating and managing technology risks.

He is also a member of the EY Diversity & Inclusion Steering Committee and an ambassador on the power of diversity.

Tavengwa’s advanced experience in IT internal and external audit management includes IT risk transformation, IT assessment and IT management. ​

Before joining EY, he worked as a Systems and Process Assurance specialist with another Big Four firm. ​

Tavengwa received a Bachelor of Commerce in Informatics, Business and Information Technology from the University of South Africa. He is also a Certified Information Security Auditor and holds the PRINCE2 practitioner certification. ​
