Marie is with EY for 32+ years and is an experienced Assurance Partner with EY's Industrial, Commercial and Technology group and she is also the Irish firm's Audit Compliance Principal and Professional Practice Partner.
Throughout Marie’s career she has worked with a wide selection of publicly listed and private companies across sectors in areas such as Technology, Life Sciences, Building Materials, Social Media, Energy and Sustainability and Financial Services.
She is currently EMEIA coordinating partner for various Fortune 100 companies where she leads multi-discipline cross border teams, ensuring she and her team provide the highest quality service and the right industry expertise and insights to EY’s clients. Marie’s areas of expertise include Sustainability Assurance, Risk management, Irish GAAP, US GAAP, CSRD, IFRS, SEC reporting and SOX internal control reporting.
Marie very much enjoys working with her audit teams, supporting her colleagues developing their careers in EY while also working with them in transforming audits through the smart deployment of technology and automation in delivering EY’s digital audits.
Marie is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, loves all things tech and holds a Post Grad Diploma in IT Applications from Dublin City University. She has also served as a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair of a leading Irish charity for five years.
