John has led many engagements in data design, architecture, management, governance and strategy and is experienced in working with senior management and key stakeholders to elicit requirements, understand complex technical components, and to relay this information clearly between technical and non-technical users.
John holds a B.Sc. in Genetics and Microbiology and a H.Dip in Computer Science from UCD, a MSc. in Communications from Queens, and a M.Sc. in Computing (Knowledge Management) from DIT, and is a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) with the Data Management Association (DAMA). He is a thought leader in enterprise data, regularly publishing blogs on data topics and is a contributing member of the Irish Chapter of DAMA.
