Ivan O'Brien

Ivan is an Advisory Partner, leading EY Risk Services on the island of Ireland. His core capabilities include internal audit, enterprise risk management, IT risk management, cybersecurity and programme assurance services.

With experience leading the delivery of risk assignments, Ivan offers co-sourced internal audit services for a number of large Irish and multinational companies and public sector organisations. Additionally, he is proficient at managing information security projects at strategic and tactical levels across almost all industries.

His previous roles include being Head of IT Internal Audit at a market-leading gold mine company, Head of Internal Audit for a major Irish energy company and Head of Internal Audit at a major Irish airline.

Ivan has a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Limerick and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor and PRINCE2 Practitioner.
