With continuing investment, a dynamic indigenous entrepreneurial sector and a highly skilled local workforce in the Midwest, Limerick growing reputation of being a first-class location to live, work and do business continues to be front and centre in its success story.
“Limerick and the wider region are well known as a hub for life-sciences, healthcare, advanced manufacturing and technology to name but a few sectors. It has established itself as a significant R&D hub and is home to a strong public sector. Together with a deep talent pool, world-class universities and enviable aviation and other infrastructure, this combines to create a vibrant business ecosystem that is only getting stronger each year.”
EY has had a presence in Limerick for over 40 years and has gone from strength to strength in recent times. Mark Hegarty says “EY’s Limerick practice has grown significantly in recent years in response to client demand and today we have a world class team based here in the city and region delivering for local, national and international clients. This includes our core areas of Audit, Tax, Consulting and Strategy & Transactions, but also increasingly our expertise in the fields of Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Supply Chains and Technology Consulting
“As the challenges facing businesses become ever more complex, external expertise has become a growing requirement for organisations’ long-term, sustainable growth. The transformational potential of Artificial Intelligence, the need to embrace digital transformation and the importance of business decarbonisation, mean that complex strategic challenges need to be solved quicker than ever, regardless of whether a company is a local SME or a large multinational. At EY Limerick we have the skills, deep sectoral knowledge and capabilities to deliver for clients, at speed and at scale.
I am really proud to lead a team of incredible, talented professionals and, along with the entire team look forward to working to support clients across the region and beyond.”
