EY Ireland agrees new 5 year sponsorship deal with UCD Rugby Club

Dublin, 26 September 2022: EY Ireland has announced it will sponsor UCD Rugby Club for the next five years. The club includes both the men’s and women’s rugby teams.

UCD Rugby Club has over 260 active players and currently runs eight different teams. Those include 1st, 2nd, Junior and Under-20 teams, as well as a number of women’s rugby team. The club competes in many leagues, including the IRFU All-Ireland League and the Leinster Metro League, and cup competitions.

The sponsorship also includes the male and female UCD Tag Rugby teams. UCD Tag Rugby has grown in popularity in recent years and is a great way for many students to participate in the sport of rugby.

The UCD Rugby Club was founded in 1911 and is home to both the men’s and women’s teams. The club has enormous history in International and domestic rugby, and currently runs eight teams, which consist of: the Men’s 1st XV team, the Women’s 1st XV team, the Women’s 2nd XV team, three Men’s Junior teams and two Men’s Under-20s teams.
