What is the EY Work Placement
Programme?

Join us for six to twelve months (depending on your degree course) of immersive learning and working experience with EY. Want to see how your knowledge applies in the real world? You’ll be part of the team here, with responsibility on client projects. We’ll pay you a salary and even help you get a head start on your professional qualifications. The really good part? If we’re impressed with you and your work, we may offer you a graduate position.

What does a Work Placement with us look like?

You’ll receive world-class hands-on training that has real-world application. You’ll stretch yourself and we’ll challenge you. After a comprehensive induction you will join the business and begin doing the same work as any other employee in EY. You’ll work as part of a team, meet with clients and make a real contribution to EY projects. We trust the students who join EY for the duration of their work placement  to make a real impact and we want to encourage you to do so.

In addition to the new skills and experience, our programme is fully-paid. You will work for EY as if you were a full-time employee therefore we believe you should be compensated as such. The programme will offer you the chance to figure out if your chosen career path is the absolute right fit for you.

Start your career journey

You’ll join the fastest growing and world’s most globally integrated professional services organisation with one of the largest client portfolios in Ireland, ranging from major Tech Companies to Government Institutions.

Working as part of a highly skilled team you will develop analytical and problem-solving skills. You will learn how to network properly, build working relationships and how to lead and manage projects.

However whilst there will be a certain focus on building your technical skillset, we also wish to furnish our interns with the skills needed to manage their workload and create a healthy work/life balance. We also offer plenty of social outings so you can bond with the other interns on the programme.
