How’s it structured?

You will spend the majority of your time working with your project team, helping to serve our clients on one of our Financial Services projects. During term time, you will typically spend one day of your working week at university. This makes for a combination of real-world experience and knowledge that supports your progression during the programme and beyond.

Year 1 - You will follow the onboarding process into EY, meeting colleagues across all solution lines and being introduced into the firm. You will also be introduced to your degree with Northumbria University and the CMI qualification, which you’ll work towards throughout the first year. At EY, you'll carry out web-based learnings with access to a collection of resources to help you understand the EY culture and key initiatives. Following on from this, you will be onboarded onto your first project within one of our key offerings including cybersecurity, suitability and anti-money laundering, working collaboratively with high performing teams and recognising each other’s strengths to bring diverse perspectives to our clients.

Years 2 and 3 - You'll continue to work towards your degree and CMI qualification, taking on three new modules during your second year of university. At EY, you will gain further experience across different solution areas, engaging with diverse and inclusive teams to further develop your leadership, team, technical and personal skills.

There are also opportunities to be involved with wider EY initiatives where collaboration across our business areas is encouraged, leveraging our diverse teams to achieve better business results.
