With over 60 years’ experience in the energy industry, entrepreneurship has been a lifelong passion for Trevor St Baker AO. After establishing his career in planning and leadership roles with the NSW and Queensland governments, Trevor built what would become one of Australia’s first power development companies, Energy Resource Managers Pty Ltd. Trevor then turned his focus to business customers by creating ERM Power Limited, Australia’s third largest electricity retailer.
Trevor continues to play an active role in the ever-changing energy sector as the Director of St Baker Energy Innovation Fund and supporting early-stage companies disrupting the clean energy and e-mobility sectors. Other roles include Director of SMR Nuclear Technology Pty Ltd and Director of Energy Policy Institute of Australia Limited.
Throughout his distinguished career, Trevor’s community spirit has shone through in his philanthropic commitment to skin cancer research, the Arts and support for Indigenous students. For this, and his extraordinary contribution to the energy sector, Trevor was appointed an Officer of the Order Of Australia (AO) in 2016.
