I have a longstanding passion for informing social policy and practice through research and evaluation. I am currently an Associate Director in EY, where I lead human services evaluation projects. Prior to joining EY I worked within various Queensland and New South Wales Government Departments where I was responsible for the development and coordination of state-wide child protection, out of home care and health research programmes.
I hold a PhD in child protection and have authored both book chapters and numerous peer reviewed publications in the area. In 2015, I was the recipient of a 50th Anniversary Churchill Fellowship to support my research into adoption and permanency in foster care. My career is dedicated to facilitating applied, practice-focused research and evaluation projects which address health and wellbeing inequalities and empower vulnerable members of our community.
