Deep consulting experience in the Shosha sector. Cross-border and domestic transaction strategy and operations focusing primarily on integration, carve-outs, and organizational transformation.

Yoshi has 20 years of transaction experience in Japan, Asia Pacific, the US, and European countries. He specializes in large-scale and complex integration, divestiture, and organizational transformation projects. He focuses on converting strategy into actionable plans and executing these plans across transactions, business transformation, and strategy reshaping with precise coordination across business units, functions, and geographies.

He currently leads the Shosha (trading companies) sector for EY Strategy and Transactions. His transaction experience includes pre-deal business strategy development, business and operational due diligence, separation operational assessment, post-deal integration, and operational enhancement. He manages growth plans and supports transactions in various sectors and geographies where Shoshas are active.

He also led and served numerous post-merger integrations (PMI) and carve-out program management office (PMO) support projects for complex cross-border transactions for multinational corporates.

Yoshi holds a BS in Environmental Science from Keio University.
