Kyiv, Ukraine, May 2024. EY Ukraine was recently announced as the EMEA Geography Winner of the 2024 IBM Partner Plus Award in the Sustainability category.
EY Ukraine team has successfully implemented IBM Maximo across all units of Ukrenergo, Ukrainian national power company, responsible for enterprise asset management (EAM) as part of its digital transformation strategy.
EY teams efficiently handled solution architecture design, functional configuration of the system, integration with external systems, key and end users’ trainings, user acceptance testing, as well as change management in relation to the EAM initiative for Ukrenergo. The implementation process incorporated the utilization of several IBM technologies, including IBM EAM Maximo 7.6 for Utilities, Maximo Linear Asset Manager and Maximo Anywhere.
The implementation of this advanced solutions empowers Ukrenergo with the capability to adapt and manage its assets more efficiently. It also equips them with data-driven predictive abilities necessary for adjusting their environment setup. This solution is effective especially now, as it offers Ukrenergo additional resilience to face potential challenges.
However, the project's complexity extends beyond the functionality of IBM Maximo. It also entails modifying Ukrenergo's systems and procedural operations for automation by the platform. This allowed Ukrenergo to quickly adapt the system to register and evaluate new types of incidents that arose as a result of the hostilities.
“The collaborative effort between EY Ukraine and Ukrenergo marks a significant milestone in their digital transformation journey. This project demonstrates effective use of a cutting-edge IBM Maximo technology to create a robust, resilient, and sustainable infrastructure to handle unpredictable incidents,” commented Kostiantyn Neviadomskyi, EY Ukraine Consulting Leader.
