EY Partner, Ove Svejstrup, is a regular participant in the festival and will once again be lacing up his running shoes to take part in the festival weekend:
“The EY Easter Running Festival is such a fantastic event for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re new to running and want a new challenge to train for in the new year, a seasoned runner aiming for a personal best, or supporting family or friends taking part, it’s a great opportunity to get outside over the Easter weekend. We’re proud to continue our sponsorship of an event that positively impacts the health and wellbeing of so many within our local community.”
Chris Gillman, Endurance Director at Guernsey Athletics Club, added:
“The EY Easter Festival is always a highlight of our running calendar, because it’s such a unique way to enjoy everything Guernsey has to offer. Whether you know the island well or you’re visiting for the first time, the festival offers a truly welcoming atmosphere. The camaraderie is always special.”
“We’re striving to make the event as accessible and inclusive as possible. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a complete newcomer, all ages and abilities are welcome to join us.”
“We’re particularly keen to grow our field of wheelchair athletes this year in the 5k and 10k races. In the past, people have had to come prepared with their own racing chairs, but this is no longer a barrier as the club now has two of these available for people to use, should they be required.”
Early bird discounts are available until midnight on Tuesday, 31 December, so be sure to get in quick!
Online registration will close strictly at 5pm on Sunday, 13 April. Visit the Guernsey Athletics Club’s website to enter EY Easter Running Festival – Guernsey Athletics Club.
