    We deliver technology-enabled transformation to our clients to help generate long-term value, and team closely with our Business Consulting practice to support our clients through their transformation journey. 

    What will you be doing?

    • Working across a range of industries to address technology challenges for our clients
    • Becoming well-rounded in a range of market leading digital and emerging technologies
    • Applying technology solutions to solve our client's complex technology challenges
    • Leveraging the expertise of our teams to shape our client's technology agenda
    • Helping our clients plan and deliver organisation-wide transformation programmes
    • You’ll also be expected to be flexible and may spend large proportions of your time away from your home office

      We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need to be working towards an honours degree in any subject, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) to be eligible to apply. 

      We're looking for students that have a passion and interest in technology and it's an added bonus if you have some experience of: SQL, Python, R, VBA, SPSS or Minitab and experience with databases, data analysis/manipulation and

      reporting.

      Locations: Belfast - Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship from EY. Please note, Graduate visas are not eligible as right to work for this vacancy as this role will not meet the Skilled Worker salary threshold before the Graduate visa expires.

      Locations: Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester, London - This vacancy is able to offer visa sponsorship if you are unable to secure the right to work in the UK yourself.

    Business skills training

    You’ll have access to all the learning EY has to offer. This includes our EY Badges programme, virtual, live instructor-led classes, live classroom sessions, curated and snackable content and master classes. The range of content is vast and includes courses on analytics, emerging technology and IT, as well as marketing, leadership and personal wellbeing.

      How’s it structured?

      After induction, you'll join your team in either Financial Services (FS) or UK & Ireland (UK&I) and jump straight into work on real client projects.

      The programme lasts two years and will provide you with a variety of experiences and learning opportunities to support your development. On the job we'll help you develop the skills to decipher how each client problem is different and to find innovative ways of solving them. You'll be part of a large graduate community which is a great opportunity to build your network, participate in corporate sustainability events and develop your leadership skills. 

      You will have the chance to work in one or several of our Technology teams. This includes capabilities such as Data Analytics, SAP, Process Automation, Solutions Implementation, Cyber Security, Digital and Emerging Technologies, Financial Crime and Technology Strategy. You will be given responsibility from day one, assessing our client’s technology stack, developing solutions and supporting business acquisition. In FS, you’ll even get the opportunity to apply for a six-month secondment, gaining valuable insight into another area of our business. 

      Whichever business area you join, you’ll have the opportunity to work with organisatons across a number of sectors with travel across the UK and possibly even abroad. Throughout the programme you'll have access to training and development resources as well as support from colleagues within your team. Since no two projects will be the same, we’ll coach and mentor you in a way that will prepare you to meet every situation.

      By the time you finish, you can expect to be well on your way to becoming a Senior Consultant with the opportunity to build a specialism in one of our Technology teams.

      What type of work will I be doing?

      As a graduate on the Technology Consulting programme, you may have the opportunity to work across one or more of our competencies:
      • Data & Analytics

        Data & Analytics is key in business transformation. It’s not just about technology, but about re-imagining how businesses will run in the future. 

        We assist clients spanning across all sectors to transform into data-driven organisations, where trusted intelligence is embedded in daily operations, from the boardroom to the front line.

        Across UK&I and FS, we focus on developing ‘next-generation’ solutions. Our expertise span across Data Strategy, Performance, Engineering, Demand, Architecture, Business Intelligence, Reporting and Advanced Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Automation and Robotic Processing.

      • Digital & Emerging Technologies

        The advent of emerging technoloy is redefining all industries. We advise our clients on the adoption of emerging technologies including Cloud Computing, Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain.

      • EY AgilityWorks

        For UK&I, in EY AgilityWorks you'll be working with one of the most innovative teams in the SAP space, supporting large scale transformation for a range of clients in the UK and abroad. S/4 HANA is one of the most prominent technologies today, and as one of the fastest growing teams in Technology Consulting, EY AgilityWorks features a range of capabilities which are exclusively focused on SAP, such as Finance, Supply Chain, Analytics, Data, App Development, Customer Experience and Solution Architecture.

      • Technology Solutions Delivery

        In FS, Technology Solutions Delivery help leading companies reinvent themselves and unlock new sources of value through technology. Our goal is to support clients as they initiate or undergo major transformation. Our capabilities span end-to-end solution implementation services from strategy and architecture to production deployment.

        In UK&I, Technology Transformation we operate at the intersect of business, technology and digital. We help our clients understand their organisational ambition, the business drivers, the technology and enablers that will drive their successful transformation. We work with key business and IT stakeholders to develop a tangible strategy, architecture, and roadmap that underpins achievement of their goals.

      • Cyber Security

        We support our clients to understand and manage their cyber security risk, secure their data and systems, detect and manage their threats and vulnerabilities, and embed operational resilience.

        As part of the Technology Consulting team, we help organisations tackle their many security challenges, support risk-based decision making and improve data security and cyber defences. We also support clients with reducing costs related to managing security risks, improving their overall cyber security posture, and recovering from cyber incidents.
