    Tax affects every aspect of our lives and laws are always changing. We help local and global organisations from start-ups to influential multinationals, manage every element of their business’s tax.

    Technology in Tax

    You’ll work closely with colleagues across borders, using EY tools and networks to solve complex business and tax problems. By combining the power of EY’s tax experience with innovative technology, you can help us transform the tax function of the future.

    What will you be doing?

    • Working alongside and within various specialist tax teams within UK & Ireland 
    • Working directly on tax reporting, compliance and planning alongside senior colleagues
    • Building important relationships with clients

    Are you eligible to apply?

    You’ll need a minimum of Level 2/GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, three A-levels, five Highers or equivalent, and an honours degree (in any subject) by the time the programme starts.

    Eligibility for Visa Sponsorship

    Location: Belfast - Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship from EY. Please note, Graduate visas are not eligible as right to work for this vacancy as this role will not meet the Skilled Worker salary threshold before the Graduate visa expires.

      How’s it structured?

      Developing your understanding of local and international tax laws is at the heart of this programme. After an EY induction you’ll join your team where you will be working in either Direct Tax, Indirect Tax or Personal Tax. You’ll have coaching and training opportunities and lots of support from your team.

      In your first year you’ll start studying for a professional qualification and throughout your second and third years, you may get opportunities to work on secondments abroad, directly with clients on site, and to continue gathering the knowledge and skills you need to reach your career goals.
