As a graduate on the Business Consulting programme, you may have the opportunity to work across one or more of our competencies:
    • Business Transformation

We’re living in a time of great uncertainty, and the pace and scale of change means it is an exciting time to work in Consulting. Organisations are continually adapting and responding to an evolving environment, and successful transformation journeys will be critical to leading businesses into a better future.

EY Northern Ireland’s Business Transformation team helps clients solve complex issues by creating strategic plans, redesigning organisations, transforming their operations and processes, and improving business performance.

We are a multidisciplinary team who deliver large-scale, multi-year transformation programmes for our clients, underpinned by three key value drivers:

      • Humans@centre  - Putting customers at the centre and prioritising deeper employee engagement and commitment.
      • Technology@speed  - Leveraging emerging and cloud technologies to enhance customer and employee experiences and to transform business models.
      • Innovation@scale  - Challenging sector boundaries, and being far more nimble in ideating, piloting and implementing leading-edge changes to existing business models.
    • Finance

The world of business is constantly changing. For our clients, this can create better ways of doing business but it may also involve more risks. Within Business Consulting, you'll focus on Finance Transformation, working as part of a great team designing, leading and delivering end-to-end transformational change within the finance capability of our clients. This is often the catalyst for wider transformation within on organisation and to be able to lead the way is truly exciting.

    • Technology Risk

Technology is at the heart of most modern organisations. As well as opening a world of opportunities, technology exposes organisations to a variety of risks. Our Technology Risk teams combine digital know-how with advanced technology to help clients understand and transform their businesses. Our experience helps clients grow, manage, protect and, when necessary, transform their businesses. Together, we shape entire industries by applying the right technological solutions to real-world problems. Your diversity of thought will only strengthen our work within this incredibly varied business area.

We have a number of work streams for you to experience which help EY clients on matters including improving their processes/governance policies and establishing future-focused strategies. Across all of the work streams, you will be given the opportunity as you grow in your career to lead meetings, identify issues and propose solutions. You will work with, and get to know, senior stakeholders at EY clients up to board level.
