David’s role is to help EY Consulting clients make the shift to data centricity, so they can respond to the market faster and get closer to customers. He specializes in technology-enabled change - integrating data, technology, process and culture to design and develop pragmatic, sustainable solutions.
Having led many successful transformation programs across the globe, particularly in financial services, David believes that data powers business, but it still comes down to people at the end of the day.
He joined EY in 2012 after a career in strategic planning and customer analytics. He is a CIMA qualified management accountant.
David studied Philosophy at University of Liverpool until the music industry lured him away.
How David is building a better working world
David’s interests in the environment and sustainability have led him to get involved with the EY Ripples program that aims to work with impact entrepreneurs, support the next generation and help accelerate environmental sustainability. The projects that he volunteered on include developing data strategies for nature organizations and data cleansing and analytics on biodiversity for a national charity.
