Martin Carlsson leads the Swedish Indirect Tax team.
Before joining EY in 2008 Martin worked as a lawyer at the Administrative Court of Appeals in Sunsdvall and before that as a tax inspector at the Swedish Tax Agency.
Martin holds a masters degree in law (LL.M.) from Uppsala University. He is also an Authorized Tax Advisor (FAR).
Martin is specialiced in indirect Taxes and primarily works with Swedish and international VAT. He regularly provides advice to multinational companies. Martin is deeply knowlegable and an experienced and trusted advisor.
Martin is aslo highly experienced in M&A and structuring and also frequently assist clients with VAT-related litigation.
Martin regularly facilitates and leads courses, seminars and workshops in VAT and writes articles on VAT for tax publications.
