Areas of focus

Julie is the Lead Analyst in the EY Global Government & Infrastructure team. She creates insights on current and emerging trends and leads the sector’s thought leadership program.

Prior to joining EY, she worked as Director of Research in the public sector institute of a global professional services organization, and as a Policy Fellow in Innovation at a leading global academic health institute.

She has researched and written many thought leadership studies on public service policymaking, delivery and governance across a diverse range of policy areas.

Julie earned an MA in Economics from the University of Aberdeen. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).

Julie provides leading sector insights to help government departments and public sector agencies understand their rapidly-changing operating environment, transform the way they work, and help deliver on their core purpose - better social and economic outcomes for citizens and communities. She is interested in the changing role of the citizen in the transformative age and the implications for how governments will plan and provide services in the future.
