Join us at the EY Corporate Reporting Forum, which will take place on 30 November 2023 at the InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw.

The EY Corporate Reporting Forum is addressed to senior executives responsible for financial and non-financial reporting, and in particular to supervisory board and audit committee members, chief financial officers, directors and reporting experts as well as chief accountants.

In addition to EY experts, the speakers and panellists of the Forum will be distinguished guests, including representatives of standard-setting organisations (IASB, EGRAG) and experienced business practitioners.

At the Forum, we bring together companies, standard-setters, users and auditors around recent developments and hot topics in financial and non-financial reporting. The agenda includes:

  • Nick Anderson - IASB

    Nick Anderson was appointed as a member of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) in 2017 and reappointed to serve a second term in 2022. He has 30 years of practical experience, mainly as a buy-side investor using and supporting the development of high-quality financial reporting. Mr Anderson joined from Janus Henderson Investors in the UK, where he served as global equity portfolio manager and head of equity research. He was responsible for overseeing the sharing of research and best practice across Janus Henderson’s equity teams and served as the firm’s contact for the IASB’s Investors in Financial Reporting programme. Mr Anderson was a member of the UK Accounting Standards Board from 2007 to 2013 and a founding member of the Corporate Reporting Users’ Forum (CRUF). He has a degree in economics, University College, Durham, UK, and is an associate of the CFA Society of the UK.

  • Dominika Bettman - Microsoft

    From December 2021 General Manager of Microsoft in Poland. For 26 years associated with Siemens Sp. z o.o. (the last years as CEO).

    Entrepreneur, advocate of new technologies and sustainable business. Graduate of Faculty of Foreign Trade at Warsaw School of Economics and Advanced Management Program at IESE in Barcelona. Economist by education, humanist by nature. Propagator of the idea of diversity and inclusive leadership. Active participant in the public debate on digital transformation of the economy and society. Author of the book “Technological Magnolias”.

  • Chiara Del Prete - EFRAG

    On 1 February 2023 Chiara Del Prete has been appointed EFRAG Sustainability Reporting TEG (EFRAG SR TEG) Chair. She was already serving this role since May 2022 as Acting Chair. Her role is to lead and manage all EFRAG's sustainability reporting technical activities.

    Chiara has also been appointed as chair of the International Forum of Accounting Standard Setters in January 2022 for an initial term of two years. 

    Chiara joined the EFRAG management team as EFRAG FR TEG Chairwoman in April 2019, position that she covered until the end of January 2023.

    From October 2016 to March 2019, Chiara was a partner at Mazars, advising financial institutions, banking authorities and listed entities on IFRS and broader corporate reporting, banking regulation, valuation and restructuring. During this period, she was also member of Mazars Global IFRS Committee. From October 2011 to September 2016 Chiara was Head of accounting principles at UniCredit Group and in charge of the external reporting disclosure for the consolidated and separated financial statements of the group. Then, she was also member of IFRS 9 technical groups of the European Banking Federation (EBF) and of the Italian Banking Association (ABI) and of the Three-Way Dialogue and Senior Accounting Group of the Institute of International Finance (IIF).

    In 2010/11 Chiara worked as Project Manager at EFRAG in charge of IAS 39 reform; before this experience in EFRAG as Project Manager, she worked for 11 years in auditing and advisory services in the banking and financial services industry.

    Chiara started her career as financial statements auditor and consultant in 2000 and worked for KPMG Italy and PwC Italy. She has been member of ESMA Corporate Reporting Standing Committee from 2017 to 2019. 

  • Piotr Biernacki - EFRAG

    Piotr Biernacki has 20 years of experience in managing strategies of public companies and specializes in sustainable development and sustainable finance.

    As vice president of the Polish Association of Listed Companies and member of the ESMA Securities and Markets Stakeholders Group he has created capital markets regulations and helped companies to comply with them. As president of the Foundation for Reporting Standards and member of the EFRAG Project Task Force for Climate Related Reporting he has developed non-financial disclosure guidelines. Piotr has initiated and led creation of the non-Financial Information Standard and has be co-author of the General Reporting Standards 1 and 2.

    Within advisory consultancy MATERIALITY he has developed a unique methodology to help companies identify material non-financial issues, risks and opportunities, as well as conduct scenario analysis. Active commentator of the capital markets, author of MARopedia and of a database of non-financial disclosures of public companies. Author of numerous studies on non-financial reporting, investor relations and presentation design.

    He has gained experience in the Polish Financial Supervisory Commission and later advising over 100 companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Nasdaq OMX and Euronext, including 45 IPO and SPO projects.

  • Zofia Dzik - The Association of Independent Non-Executive Directors

    Impact investor, innovator, strategic thinker, pioneer of the fintech market in the direct area in CEE. A long-standing member of supervisory boards (i.a. CCC S.A., PKO BP S.A., InPost S.A., Arctic Paper S.A.). Member of the Council of Experts of the Forum of Supervisory Boards at the Warsaw Stock Exchange and the Association of Independent Members of Supervisory Boards. Founder of the Humanites Institute, a think&Do tank that systemically combines the issues of Human and Technology. Founder of the Center for Ethics of Technology and the Academy of Leadership of Educational Leaders (APLO). Lecturer, mentor, juror (i.a. in the jury of the Orły Reczpospolitej award). Member of the Scientific Council of IDEAS NCBR - a center operating in the field of artificial intelligence and the Social Council of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Author of the "Coherent Leadership™” model. In the TOP 10 of the Forbes Women Ranking – "Leaders of Sustainable Development 2022". Privately: wife, mother of three, passionate for wandering worldwide.

  • Joanna Frykowska - Bridgestone EMIA

    Head of Corporate Finance at Bridgestone EMIA. Finance professional and statutory auditor with over 25 years of experience. She started her professional career in EY audit, auditing financial statements for 6 years. Over the next 12 years, she supported EY clients as a consultant in the accounting and financial reporting advisory department. In the years 2012-2015, she was a member of the EFRAG Technical Expert Group advising on the implementation of IFRS in the European Union. Since 2015, she has been the Director of Corporate Finance at Bridgestone EMIA, responsible for regulatory compliance, consolidation and reporting of consolidated financial results of more than 100 entities and monitoring the effectiveness of the Group's internal control environment.

  • Filip Gorczyca - The Association of Independent Non-Executive Directors

    Member of the Management Board of the Association of Independent Members of Supervisory Boards. Member of the Supervisory Boards of CCC, Ferro, Develia and Artifex Mundi. In the past, he served as Vice President of the Management Board and CFO of Alior Bank, Member of the Management Board of the, Luma Holding Ltd. private equity fund, Senior Investment Director at the Medicover Group, and Deputy Director at PwC. He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and management programs at Harvard Business School and Singularity University. He is a certified statutory auditor and an ACCA certificate holder.

  • Zuzanna Góral - Orange Polska Group

    Accounting and Internal Control Director · Orange Polska S.A. She graduated from the Krakow University of Economics. She is a member of ACCA. She is a graduate of the Orange School of Finance and Controlling and the ESCP Business School. She is a certified public accountant. Before joining Orange, she worked as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers and head of finance at the Crowley Data Poland telecommunications start-up. Since 2009 she has been working at Orange, where she is responsible for accounting and financial reporting as well as internal controls. She is a graduate of Green Academy at Collegium Civitas. She completed the Vital Voices program and the Henryka Bochniarz Academy of Women Leaders. Participates in activities supporting women’s development. She is a mentor.

  • Bożena Graczyk - ING Bank Śląski S.A.

    She took up the position of Vice-President of the Management Board at ING Bank Śląski S.A. in June 2017. Since June 2021, she has been the Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of ING Bank Hipoteczny S.A. She is also a Member of the Supervisory Board of the following subsidiaries: ING Commercial Finance Polska S.A., ING Lease (Polska) Sp. z o.o. and ING Investment Holding (Polska) S.A. From 1994 to 2017 she worked at KPMG. Graduate of the University of Lodz. She completed the Executive MBA in International Business Program, University of Bristol and École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, as well as the Advanced Management Program, IESE Business School at the University of Navarra. She is a certified auditor.

  • Piotr Grzywacz - Microsoft

    As of 15 July 2021, Piotr Grzywacz has joined Microsoft Leadership Team as a Global Partner Solutions Lead. He will be responsible for working with Microsoft’s Polish Partners to support the company’s customers on their journey towards digital transformation and the development of the Polish Digital Valley.

    Piotr Grzywacz is an experienced manager, for almost 20 years connected with business consulting and IT market. He held a number of managerial and expert positions in recognized international organizations. He joins the Microsoft team directly from Capgemini, where he most recently held the position of Head of Capgemini Business Services (BSv) in Switzerland and EU Cluster region. He was responsible for a portfolio of global clients, successfully developing advanced transformation and operations delivery services in finance, supply chain and digital marketing, among others. He oversaw complex business transformation projects including the implementation of cloud native solutions.

    Prior to joining Capgemini, Piotr Grzywacz worked at EY Business Advisory in Warsaw as an Associate Partner, where he developed new business areas including automation and AI, as well as technology-driven transformation and IT risk management services. Since the beginning of his career, he has focused on business development in the professional and technology services sector, leading international teams and building multidimensional relationships with partners.

  • Grzegorz Kania

    An expert with twenty-five years of experience in finance, over half of which in managerial positions, including at Ringier Axel Springer Polska, Onet, Agora and Huuuge Games. In the latter role, he successfully prepared and executed the largest initial public offering of shares in the mobile gaming sector in Europe, while building internal teams, processes and systems supporting the presence of Huuuge Games on the WSE. During his professional career, he also led many projects in the field of team integration, implementation of IT systems and optimization of operational processes.

  • Monika Kulik - Orange Polska Group

    CSR expert at Orange Polska, member of the board of the Responsible Business Forum. For over a dozen years, she has been dealing with CSR, sustainable development and ESG topics in practice and theory. At Orange Polska, she is involved in the development and implementation of corporate social responsibility strategies, ESG reporting, the stakeholder dialogue process and the implementation of digital inclusion and diversity management programs.

  • Milena Olszewska - Miszuris – The Association of Independent Non-Executive Directors

    President of the Management Board of WM Advisory Sp. z o.o., Co-Chair 30% Club Poland, member of the Audit Committee of the Association of Independent Members of Supervisory Boards. Milena has 20 years of experience in the capital market. She manages a boutique consulting company supporting companies in value building, financial and non-financial reporting, and investor relations. She is the founder and Co-Chair of 30% Club Poland, a member of the Audit Committee of the Association of Independent Members of Supervisory Boards and an active member of supervisory boards of listed companies. She is a member of the Committee on Corporate Governance at the WSE and the Governance, Risk and Performance Global Forum at ACCA. She is an expert on sustainable corporate governance at UN Global Compact Network Poland. For ten years she was an analyst of listed companies in international brokerage houses, awarded many times for her knowledge and market sense in Poland and abroad.

  • Filip Paszke - Żabka Group

    A graduate of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in the field of Management and Marketing and Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School. In the years 1999-2012, he was associated with Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy and then Dom Maklerski BZ WBK, where he co-created the institutional sales team. Since 2009, he has been a member of the management board of Dom Maklerski BZ WBK responsible for institutional sales, analyses and capital market transactions. From January 2013, he worked at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking as director of equity capital markets, where he was responsible for the development of activities on these markets, as well as for customer relations in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. In the years 2014 - 2019, Director of the Brokerage House of PKO Bank Polski supervising the activities of the PKO BP Group on capital markets, including services for institutional and retail investors, analyses, transaction advisory for enterprises (ECM, M&A) and activities on the Brokerage House's own account. From 2018 to 2019, he also served as Director of the PKO BP Private Banking Center. Since 2022, he has worked for the Żabka Group, where as Director he is responsible for governance and relations with the capital market. In the years 2017 - 2023, he was an independent member of the WSE Supervisory Board. Since 2020, he has been an independent member of the Supervisory Board of NWAI Dom Maklerski S.A. and DataWalk S.A. and since 2022 he has been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. In his over 25-year professional career, he has participated in over 80 transactions on the Polish capital market.

  • Aleksandra Przegalińska – Kozminski University

    Professor at Kozminski University, habilitated doctor in the field of management sciences. She obtained her PhD in philosophy of artificial intelligence from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Warsaw. Currently, she is the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and ESR at Kozminski University. Since 2016, she has conducted research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston. Graduate of The New School for Social Research in New York, where she participated in research on identity in virtual reality, with a special focus on Second Life. Currently, Research Fellow at The American Institute for Economic Research (AIER). In 2022, she started working with the Labor and Worklife Program (LWP) at Harvard. She is interested in the development of artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, social robots and wearable technologies.
