Ronald is the CESA Strategy and Transactions Leader, Strategy and Transactions South Cluster Leader and the Country Managing Partner for Malta. He joined EY in 1999 when the firm was established in Malta.
Ronald's experience includes leading privatization projects as well as other asset sales. He acts as client-serving partner for larger institutions in Malta, including the Government of Malta and Bank of Valletta, as well as family businesses in Malta, and has played a leading role in developing a managed services offering in Malta.
He created the Malta Attractiveness Survey, an annual study of the FDI landscape in Malta.
Ronald’s titles include CPA, FCMA, FCCA and FIA. He graduated from the University of Malta.
How Ronald is building a better working world
Ronald effectively built the Strategy and Transactions business in EY Malta from scratch. In doing so, he also supported several companies opening businesses in Malta: “In helping to increase FDI within Malta, we are helping to foster the local economy and establishing jobs within Malta and surrounding countries.”
For over 15 years, he has been lecturing at the University of Malta, teaching hundreds of students accounting principles.
