Saif is a Partner in EY’s Power and Utilities practice and has been with the firm for nearly a decade. He specializes in advising clients on sector reforms, clean energy transition, decarbonization, transactions, bid process, investment planning and monitoring, business planning, and impact assessment. 

He has been part of power sector reforms across multiple states in India, gaining experience across the sector value chain. Additionally, Saif brings strong experience in renewables, energy efficiency and new energies, having played a crucial role in India’s clean energy transition journey.  

He has worked with governments, utility organizations, international financial institutions (IFIs), industrial bodies, regulators, and multinational corporations (MNCs). Saif’s leadership extends beyond India, with engagements in countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Saudi Arabia, Maldives and various African nations. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineer and an MBA.
