Carsten is the Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services (TARAS) Deputy Leader in Germany. He began his career with the global EY organization in the Frankfurt office over 20 years ago. He has extensive experience advising audit and non-audit clients globally on complex tax accounting and reporting topics, including acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, IPOs, strategic planning, tax function performance and internal controls.
Living south of Munich, Carsten also serves as the Tax Account Leader for a major multinational industrial manufacturing client.
He holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Bamberg, an MBA in International Taxation from the University of Freiburg, and is a certified German tax advisor.
