As a senior consultant in EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services, Andreas works to assist companies in developing strategies to reduce their carbon footprint and improve their data collection as well as calculation methods in order to report on greenhouse gas emissions. This also includes assisting companies in reporting in accordance with, among other, the upcoming requirements from the EU’ Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
Andreas has worked with climate and sustainability throughout his career and has worked for both public organizations as well as with larger and smaller Danish companies across a variety of sectors.
Andreas holds a MSc in Political Science with a specialization in Climate, Environment, and Sustainability from Aarhus University (BSc) and The University of Copenhagen (MSc).
How Andreas is building a better working world
"I work to help companies improve their reporting on the emissions they are responsible for – both directly, indirectly and throughout their value chain. Using this as a point of departure, we can set ambitious goals for the lowering of future emissions and start progressing towards meeting international climate goals. Ultimately, this will enable us to leave a healthier and greener planet for future generations."
