Steve Brown is a Partner at EY in Valuations, Modelling and Economics. He specialises in applied quantitative economic analysis and is an expert in general equilibrium modelling.

Steve has worked in the public and private sectors across a range of economic and public policy issues in Australia and abroad.

Steve has a Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Melbourne Business School.

Steve has been at the forefront of applied quantitative economic analysis for over 30 years.

He has developed and applied advanced data analysis and economic modelling techniques to underpin his advice.

His advice has included economic forecasting, scenario analysis and policy analysis.

Steve’s work has spanned critical areas such as climate change, tax and regulatory reform, trade policy, infrastructure, tourism, mining, education and health.

He is committed to training and mentoring the next generation of economists.
