John is an EY Partner leading its China practice across Oceania. Before relocating to Australia and joining EY in 2007, he worked in China for more than 13 years with Chinese State Owned Enterprises, private companies, international companies and government agencies.
Since joining EY Australia in 2007, he has been focused on delivering tailored solutions to Chinese companies investing and operating in Oceania, and Oceania companies doing business in China, covering the sectors of healthcare, power & utilities (including renewable energy), mining, agribusiness and infrastructure. He has worked closely with EY's M&A teams to successfully close many China-Australia cross-border deals.
John has a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering, International Trade, and an MBA in Finance Management.
