Gino is the Americas VAT Compliance Leader and EY US Consumption Tax Leader, which encompasses Sales and Use Tax, VAT, Global Trade and Excise.
Gino has been an Indirect Tax Advisor for more than 15 years. During that time, he has had the opportunity to work on numerous international VAT/GST engagements for a wide variety of businesses in different industries. His work includes the provision of global VAT/GST consulting and compliance advice, automated VAT solutions, pre- and post-M&A work (including integration), VAT recovery services, supply chain restructuring and coordination of multinational VAT/GST projects.
In 2005, Gino moved to the US from Belgium. He regularly presents at seminars and conferences on international VAT/GST matters and has also authored and co-authored articles on various VAT/GST topics.
Gino earned an MA in Economics and an LLM in Tax Law (cum laude) from Ghent University.
