Oben Seymen joined EY Türkiye Corporate Finance Department in 2021 and serves as Director. Previously, he worked in the Corporate Banking and Project & Structured Finance departments of a private bank for 10 years. After that, he served as Project Finance Manager in one of Türkiye's leading conglomerates for 4 years.
Currently, Oben is a member of EY's Capital & Debt Advisory and Financial Restructuring team. He has played an integral role in securing financing for many of Türkiye's Land - mark projects , having originated over approximately 10 billion EUR of financing. In his present role, Oben applies his extensive experience to cater to the financing needs of many local and foreign companies operating across various sectors, including but not limited to infrastructure, energy, tourism, real estate, technology, and retail. Moreover, he provides support to companies in financial distress with restructuring-related matters.
Oben possesses substantial expertise in Project Finance, Structured Finance, and Financial Modeling. He holds a bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering and a master’s degree in Management Engineering, both awarded by Istanbul Technical University.
