Kaan Birdal has graduated from School of Economics, Istanbul University in 1998. He started his career at EY Istanbul office the same year. After 14 years of experience in  the assurance sector he became a company partner in 2012. Mr. Birdal played an active role in the set-up of EY Assurance in Ankara. He has provided his services to leading industrial corporates and holdings of Turkey as well as international corporations. He has expertise mainly in consumer goods and retail sector with experience in automotive and tourism industries. He is the holder of an independent auditing certificate for capital markets in Turkey and completed the IPO of many firms. Mr. Birdal audits financial statements prepared according to the rules and procedures of UFRS, US GAAP, and  Turkish Capital Market Board.
