Chee Wei provides international tax and transaction services to real estate and asset management businesses in Singapore, including advisory on tax structuring and due diligence for M&A transactions.
He is experienced in inbound and outbound international tax matters, transaction tax advisory and cross-border tax structuring for M&A transactions involving large private and public investments, private equity and hedge fund investments.
Chee Wei was previously with Singapore’s state investment firm for almost 10 years, where he provided advice on Asian and American private equity and hedge fund investments. In that position, he also led tax structuring and due diligence for large direct and coinvesting deals and helped establish new platform companies.
Chee Wei is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) with a minor in Banking and Finance from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
