As the EY Americas Assurance Deputy Technology Risk Leader, Jim is responsible for providing quality services, growth, integration and execution of technology risk capabilities across assurance.
He plays a pivotal role in driving high quality execution of IT audit procedures for financial statement audits and audits of internal controls over financial reporting.
Additionally, Jim is leading the integration of technology assessments for system implementations, attestation reporting and compliance services, cybersecurity assessments, environmental, societal and governance (ESG) assessments along with other internal control programs.
Previously, Jim served as the US-Central Technology Risk Leader. He has extensive knowledge in IT risk and controls, gathered from over two decades of experience in technology risk consulting.
Jim is committed to workforce development and champions many DEI initiatives.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and holds CISA, CIPP and CRISC certifications.
