Daniel has spearheaded key initiatives that facilitate the success of EY’s clients. With a deep understanding of the ever-changing regulatory landscape, Daniel has driven the development of an EY thought leadership programme that serves as a platform to discuss critical topics on local business leaders’ agendas, including blockchain, ESG, forensics, and operational resilience. By facilitating these discussions, Daniel has supported local clients in staying well-informed and equipped to navigate local business challenges and opportunities.

Daniel is deeply committed to the development and well-being of others. With a passion for creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive, feels that they belong and are included, Daniel has made a lasting impact as EY’s CI Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Leader. Through this role, Daniel has played a pivotal part in advancing EY’s DE&I agenda, exemplified by the establishment of their CI DE&I working party and the implementation of various initiatives. By fostering a sense of belonging and championing diversity, Daniel enables all team members to reach their full potential. His dedication extends beyond the workplace, as he actively contributes to the local community. In collaboration with the Jersey Employment Trust, he volunteers his time to conduct mock interview training sessions, empowering individuals and providing them with invaluable skills for professional success.

On his new role, Daniel said: “I am proud to be taking this next step in my career and joining the CI leadership team. In my new role, I look forward to continuing to efficiently serve our growing client base and bringing the applicable EY solutions to them as well as pursuing our DE&I agenda by nurturing talent and creating an environment where everyone can be their true authentic selves, in order for everyone to reach their full potential, perform at their best and as a result provide exception service to our clients and continue to grow our business.”

This promotion reflects EY’s continued commitment to supporting the development of their people, as well as the continued growth in the Channel Islands.

Dan Saunders, EY’s CI Managing Partner, said: “Congratulations to Daniel on reaching this milestone in his career. It’s an exciting time to join the leadership team as we drive our strategy forward and Daniel will play an important role in us achieving our ambitions across the Channel Islands. During his time with EY, Daniel has consistently demonstrated unwavering professionalism and dedication to his clients and to delivering exceptional client service. His influential role in our CI DE&I working party, aimed at nurturing underrepresented talent and championing initiatives that support individuals in embracing their true selves, has already proven successful.”
