Real Estate hasn’t been a separate sector for a long time now, because real estate is simply everywhere. Every client is actually a real estate client.

Engaged. Eager to learn. Connects people. He enjoys coming up with creative solutions.

Areas of focus

Wiebe Brink advises companies in the Real Estate, Hospitality & Construction sectors with their fiscal restructuring, acquisitions and (digital) transformation projects.

He studied fiscal economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and has been working at EY since 1992. He also worked for fifteen years as a lecturer in corporate taxation, and still gives seminars, both at home and abroad. In addition to EY, Wiebe also serves on the supervisory board of RSG Lingecollege in Tiel.

“I like going off the beaten track and telling it like it is. I sometimes pose questions that otherwise don’t get asked. You need to dare to do that, but I think clarity matters. In this way, the client knows how things really are, where we add value with our rates and what it all means specifically to them.”

How Wiebe is building a better working world

“As a sector leader, I closely follow all developments in my sectors, including on the international stage. It’s really interesting, because there’s a lot going on. The impact of technology, how sectors interconnect with one another. Real Estate hasn’t been a separate sector for a long time now, because real estate is simply everywhere. Every client is actually a real estate client. I like turning all these trends into practice. How can the client benefit from this? And what is EY’s role? I look to the future every single day.”
