Eva assists clients in taking stock of pension-related risks. She uses her knowledge and experience as an actuary to make these matters quantifiable. She provides advice on the valuation of pensions, and is thus involved in the field of business acquisitions. She also fields questions from pension providers.
She studied Economics at the University of Groningen and trained as an actuary at the Actuarial Society of the Netherlands. Following a round-the-world trip, she started working at EY in 2004.
“Using my Groningen sobriety, knowledge of pensions, and up-to-date information on the topic, I consider all the client’s pension issues. Whether this is a company, financial institution, pension fund or pension provider. I’m critical and always want to ensure the best result for the client by giving them the right help. As an actuary, I identify and quantify risks. Pensions are a hot topic right now, with a new pension agreement on the horizon. I enjoy determining the significance of this for our clients, from a financial and a risk perspective.”
How Eva is building a better working world
“By considering the question as a whole, you get a fuller picture. I fight for all those involved - from the unit-holder to the operator. There’s a lot to consider. From the financial impact of new agreements, to communication with participants.”
