Aizat Rahim and Lennise Ng started Dropee in 2017 when they entered their family business and recognized the need to connect offline-to-online business-to-business (B2B) transactions, while enabling retailers to stock up inventories easily.
Since then, they have grown their business to become a force to be reckoned with in the B2B eCommerce space by connecting wholesalers with retailers via an online marketplace and Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. This has benefited suppliers with better visibility on stock availability, customer payments, financial transparency, and predictive analytics on customer purchasing trends.
Dropee grew exponentially during the pandemic with an increased demand to digitize sales channels by helping wholesalers and brands automate inventory replenishment for their retail customers. Today, the platform supports over 7,000 suppliers and serves more than 80,000 retailers across Malaysia and Indonesia.
