Bart is the Chairman of the Board at EY Luxembourg ensuring a clear focus on the future growth and success of the company. Before taking over his current role, he held the leadership of the Luxembourg tax practice, setting strategic and operational direction for the service line.
As the firm’s former Global Telecommunication Tax Sector leader, Bart has been working with the Global Firm’s telecommunication clients and client teams in addressing the unique tax issues facing this industry. In this role he aligned EY's network across more than 150 countries to address emerging and known client issues covering all areas of taxation including indirect tax, transfer pricing, international tax, global compliance and reporting and unique areas such as incentives.
Bart holds a Master’s Degree in economics majoring in tax law at the Hogeschool-Universiteit Brussel. He is a member of the fiscal committees of several associations such as the OEC and UEL.
