Startup World Cup – 10 startups will be selected to compete for the Golden Ticket to Silicon Valley
The Startup World Cup is a prestigious international competition organized by the venture capital firm Pegasus Tech Ventures (known for its support of iconic startups such as SpaceX, Airbnb, and X). The Startup World Cup aims to connect startup ecosystems worldwide, offering promising startups the opportunity to pitch their ideas and compete at various stages, leading up to the final in Silicon Valley. The grand winner will receive – in addition to many other benefits – an investment prize of one million US dollars.
A selection committee comprising representatives from Luxinnovation, LHoFT, LBAN, Technoport, the University of Luxembourg Incubator, Startup Luxembourg, the Luxembourg-City Incubator, and Le Village by CA will identify the 10 most promising startups among the applicants.
The Luxembourg final is set to take place in Kirchberg on Thursday, May 22, 2025, hosted by EY Luxembourg. The winner will be announced during the evening and celebrated after the jury's deliberation. This local champion will have the opportunity to represent Luxembourg in the next round in San Francisco, where they will compete against over 100 other talented candidates!
