Luxembourg, 16 September 2022. EY Luxembourg is pleased to announce a record hiring of 350 new professionals who will reinforce the Assurance, Consulting, Tax and Core Business Services teams by October. With more than 45 different nationalities and coming from a multitude of cultural and educational backgrounds, the new joiners are a strong addition to the already diverse and multi-cultural EY environment which now counts 1,800 employees in total.

Over 280 young graduates and experienced professionals have been welcomed during an integration day which took place at the European Convention Center on 16 September. Highlights of the day included presentations, workshops, and discussion panels with the firm’s leaders. The new joiners could also exchange on their experience with peers who joined the firm in the past year.

“We're honored to have such skilled and talented individuals joining EY Luxembourg. This strong onboarding of new hires is a testament to our continued growth, resilience in the face of challenges, and our capacity to attract young professionals seeking an innovative work environment with strong learning opportunities. Best of luck to all of our new hires, and welcome to EY!” says Olivier Coekelbergs, Country Managing Partner of the firm.

Adriana Boixados, who was appointed as the new People Leader of EY Luxembourg in July 2022, comments: “Businesses like ours are built and kept up by the new generations. It is our duty to adapt to evolving expectations and to provide our people with an exceptional career experience. Candidates who join EY become part of a team. The value of belonging is very important to us as we aim to build strong teams across jurisdictions and business lines, by building on our people’s diverse profiles and strengths.

Serving our clients in the best way thanks to integrated teams where no one ever walks alone is part of our value proposition, along with building an environment where talents can boost their learning curve by interacting with peers and more experienced leaders. I am glad that events such as this integration day and the upcoming training offsite can take place again, as these are an extraordinary way to immerse our new joiners into these core values from the start. It’s the first impression that counts!”

This event has also given the occasion to announce the nomination of Grégory Cara as the new Human Resources (HR) Director of the firm. Grégory has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and International Tax and brings more than 20 years of experience in HR functions. He started his career at EY Luxembourg in 2001 and gained a solid experience in Reward Management, before taking on roles in the Wealth Management industry for eight years. In 2021, Grégory came back to EY where he was appointed Deputy HR Director, before his nomination as HR Director in September 2022.
