Yiannis Goulias

Yiannis is Partner at EY’s Tax Services in Greece, specializing in Global Tax Compliance (GCR) Services, and more specifically, in Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory (TARAS) Services.

He has more than 20 years of experience, serving clients from various sectors, including the consumer products, construction, real estate, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, energy and utilities, and shipping sectors, as well as the public sector.

He leads EY’s Tax Certification, and Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services in Greece.

Yiannis has been involved in digital tax, tax transformation, and tax performance projects, and is a member of the EY Tax Technology and Transformation network.

He studied Business Administration (graduate and postgraduate studies-MBA) at the University of Piraeus. He also holds a postgraduate degree in Tax Law from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Yiannis has attended various tax seminars in Greece and abroad, while he has also been a lecturer on corporate taxation, at private colleges.

He is a member of the Taxation Committee of the Hellenic-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while he regularly participates in conferences and workshops as a speaker on matters pertaining to his area of expertise.

When not helping clients face their biggest challenges, Yiannis enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, reading stories to his daughters, and going to the theater to watch his wife act.
