Dimitris is a Partner at EY in Greece leading the Strategy practice within EY Parthenon for non-Financial Services clients – focusing mostly on the Energy, Industrial, Consumer and Retail sectors.
Prior to joining EY, he established and led the Strategy & Operations practice for two major consulting firms and for an affiliate of a major strategy firm in Greece.
Dimitris holds a Diploma of Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), a Master’s (MSc) in Automatic Control & Systems Engineering from University of Sheffield and a Master’s (MSc) in Operations Management from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) as well as a Certified Diploma from ACCA.
He has over 25 years of consulting experience, across sectors, including Energy & Utilities, Consumer & Retail, Industrial, Metals & Mining, and Logistics & Transport Infrastructure - where he has led Strategy, Restructuring & Transformation projects, Value Chain Operations Optimization & Advanced Commercial Analytics assignments, as well as large-scale privatizations and investments evaluations.
How is Dimitris building a better working world?
Dimitris has led multiple engagements and initiatives in the Energy sector in Greece focused on removing constraints to increasing renewables penetration in the electricity mix. His leadership encompasses large scale renewables investments, grid infrastructure development projects, electricity storage solutions and infrastructure etc.
He has also contributed to improving the performance and competitiveness of many large Greek companies, boosting their exports and the added value to the Greek economy.
