Juan Felipe Montoya is rethinking the egg industry to better feed families and nurture the environment.

As the third-generation leader of Incubadora Santander, Juan has been hatching new ideas in the egg sector since 2012. Driven by a vision to provide the complete and accessible protein — the egg — to millions of families in Colombia, Juan is helping agriculture take a step forward by improving soil with organic fertilizers. 

The company currently delivers more than 5 million eggs a day throughout the country, backed by a strong brand and a distribution network of more than 40,000 neighborhood stores. As Colombia’s leader in the sector, Incubadora Santander is poised for growth by expanding to new cities, developing new egg products, and entering the agricultural market with organic fertilizers made from chicken manure.
