Rosemarie Rafael is the Chairperson and President of Airspeed, a leading logistics provider in the Philippines. Airspeed, established in 1985, has grown under her leadership to provide a range of services from freight forwarding to e-commerce fulfilment, contributing to national development and championing sustainable practices.
Rosemarie was motivated by a desire to create seamless logistics solutions and opportunities for others. From its humble beginnings with six employees and one van, Airspeed now leads in pioneering sustainable logistics with eco-friendly practices and green tech integration. Initiatives like UnboxMe and Pinaspeed are enhancing its digital presence and global reach, especially after partnering with SM Investments Corp in 2018.
Beyond Airspeed, Rosemarie promotes women's economic participation as Chairperson of the Women's Business Council Philippines, and advances gender equality as a Labor Commissioner for the Philippine Commission on Women. She is also the Director and Treasurer of Arise Philippines.
