Hoa Thi Viet Nguyen

EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ Asia-Pacific Class of 2025
Founder and CEO, Asia Dragon Capital Joint Stock Company, Vietnam

Hoa Thi Viet Nguyen is the Founder and CEO of Asia Dragon Capital Joint Stock Company (ADC), a Vietnamese enterprise that manufactures and supplies a diverse range of yarn, twine and rope made from polymer. Catering to industries such as marine, shipping, aquaculture, agriculture and more, ADC has established a significant global footprint across continents from Norway to New Zealand.

Sparked by a customer's insight and her own research, Hoa saw potential in agricultural fibers despite initial resistance from her previous company's board. In 2006, she founded ADC, committing to high European standards and importing top-tier production lines. Over 18 years, Hoa's dedication to quality and technological application has positioned ADC as an industry leader with state-of-the-art machinery from global suppliers.

Hoa's strategic vision for ADC includes becoming Asia's top marine and agricultural rope supplier and the largest foreign manufacturer exporting to the US market. With a projected annual growth of 30% to 50%, she plans to bolster the company's resources, including recruiting international engineers to overcome local labor shortages.

Beyond business success, Hoa is deeply involved in community work, from scholarships to environmental protection, embodying her role as a business leader and philanthropist. Her contributions have earned her the Ho Chi Minh City - Excellent Business Women Awards and recognition from the Vietnam Plastics Association.

Asia Dragon Capital’s vision is to become Asia's top manufacturer of synthetic fiber ropes, constantly upholding the highest quality in every facet — from investing in our people, products, and systems to enhancing the working environment and serving society at large.
