Navigating the increased complexity, risks and employee expectations
It may seem ironic to talk about “return to travel” in a context where the latest developments are forcing countries to introduce new in-country restrictions as well as shutting borders and making it more difficult to travel.
However, we believe that the time is right to tackle the risks that have always been associated with business travel and remote working at home and abroad for three reasons:
1. The awareness of complexities and risk is at an all-time high
2. The volumes of business travel are low(er) but happen for important business reason
3. Employee expectations have increased due to personal reasons and several high-profile companies announcing more flexibility in work locations
In this context, putting in place processes and tools to manage risk, compliance and deliver the right employee experience and align to talent strategy is key for companies to come out of the pandemic in a stronger position. The employee value proposition and the ability to attract, develop and retain talent should not be overlooked either by enabling more flexibility in how and where people work. As a result, properly managing business travel and remote work will drive extensive value to the business.
With this in mind, we hereby cordially invite you to join our Return to travel webcast on Wednesday, 26 January 2021, 16:00 to 17:00 CET where we will explore and discuss three common scenarios:
1. Cross-border workforce in Switzerland (“frontalier” / “Grenzgänger/innen”)
2. International business travel
3. Remote work across borders
For each of them, we will go through the latest legislation update including temporary agreements, share what we are seeing in the market in terms of approach and solutions to manage risk, ensure compliance and deliver the right employee experience.
We look forward to seeing you there!
