Geoff Ferres

An experienced EY Associate Partner, Geoff specialises in bringing cross-discipline stakeholders together to co-design, deliver and embed transformative solutions. With qualifications in Engineering, Law and Sustainability, Geoff’s collaborative leadership approach draws upon insights from 20+ years’ experience leading hundreds of complex international initiatives across a wide range of sectors and contexts.

As an Advisor with 16 years’ tenure at EY Australia, Geoff has been fortunate to support clients across a wide range of strategic leadership priorities. In the transformation domain, he brings over two decades’ experience leading transformative change services such as strategic planning, operating model development, organisational structure design, governance framework establishment, process architecture, capacity building and high performance culture embedment. In the technology domain, Geoff leverages deep experience across technology strategy, delivery, governance and innovation roles, drawing on his background in Software Engineering and Agile, together with insights across end-to-end software, infrastructure and operational lifecycles. In the innovation domain, he has served as a leader within EY’s Oceania Net Zero Centre, activating cutting edge digital, decarbonisation and resilience climate response initiatives, and also leads doctoral research to better understand science communication and translation between experimental projects across our region.
